International Medical Centers Deliver High-Quality
Medical Care and Research
Until the last few years, people looked at countries outside
the U.S. and its hospitals as inferior imitations of those in developed
countries. Western expatriates as well as wealthier Third World "natives",
having very little trust in local hospitals or doctors, would fly to the United
States for something as simple as an executive check-up. In the past 30 years, the
costs of health care have soared in developed countries, especially in the
United States. Due to rapidly escalating health care costs, Americans,
Europeans, Canadians and Australians in ever increasing numbers began to search
for alternatives that could reduce their personal out of pocket medical
expenses. In the last few years, millions of people from developed nations have
chosen to use International Medical Centers.
Need
a coronary bypass surgery that costs more than $150,000 in the U.S.? Travel to a
high quality India hospital and pay less than $8,000. Need an elective Caesarean
section? That's about $1,000 including a four day hospital stay in a private
room. How about a breast augmentation with smooth saline implants? Breast
implants will cost you $2,000. If you are willing to travel to India, the list of more
affordable medical procedures is seemingly endless: cardiac surgery, orthopedic
surgery, weight loss procedures, cancer treatments, cosmetic surgery, general
surgery, medications, infertility treatments, dental, glasses, stress reduction
programs, neurosurgery, laparoscopic procedures, sex reassignment surgery,
experimental treatments and so much more.

there are no serious risk factors involved (e.g. extreme obesity, underlying

I highly recommend International
Surgery Discounts
and their India affiliate group, Life Smile, and it's staff. I
went to India for a Bariatric Weight Loss Surgical procedure in January 2008.
At first I was very skeptical about the idea of traveling half way around the
world for a major surgery. After an initial screening and referral from
International Surgery Discounts in California, Dr. Parpyani called me at home from
India. I couldn't get a doctor in the US to pay that much attention to me! Dr.
Parpyani assured me that he would be happy to answer any questions. And, I had
a ton of them. He answered each and every one of them. No question was left
unanswered. He was there to support and resolve any situation that came up.
I felt extremely well taken care of
and pampered. In fact, I felt like everyone went overboard to make sure my
journey and operation went smoothly and stress free. While I was there, my
husband got a lot of needed dental work done at a fraction of what it would have
cost in the U.S. I also had some dental work and laser surgery done on some sun
spots. Dr. Parpyani and staff completely orchestrated everything. We had a
driver to drive us to all of these appointments. I highly recommend MDI/Life
Smile to anyone thinking about traveling abroad to get medical procedures. If
you want expert, compassionate, detailed and well managed attention for your
overseas medical treatment, look no further.

International Medical
Travel
There are
millions of Americans with no health insurance. There are millions of people
worldwide sitting on endless medical waiting lists. In situations when it looks
like there is no viable solution, what could a person do if they need an
expensive medical or dental procedure?
Now, people with no health insurance
and those on medical waiting lists have another alternative: "International
India Medical Travel".
Need an elective Caesarean section? That's about $1,200 including a four day
hospital stay in a private room. How about a breast augmentation with smooth
saline implants? Breast implants will cost you $2,700.
Americans are traveling to international medical
locations in increasing numbers. The most commonly sought international medical
procedures include transplant surgery, heart
surgery, orthopedic surgery, cosmetic surgery and dental care. The reason Powai
Lake, India is
a favorable international destination is because it's infrastructure and technology is
par with the top medical centers in the USA, UK and Europe. Powai Lake, India has one
of the best
hospitals and treatment centers in the world with the best facilities.
Powai Lake, India is promoting the "high-tech healing" of its
private healthcare sector as a state-of-the-art international medical
destination. Powai Lake has established world-class
expertise in practices such as cardiac care, cosmetic surgery, joint
replacements and dentistry.
Merging medical expertise is changing Powai Lake into a
"global health destination". For example, a complex heart operation
in Powai Lake costs approximately $8,800 (€7,000, £4,850), and it includes airfare and a month's stay in hospital.
A much less complex operation in America would cost more than $60,0000.
As health care costs skyrocket, patients in
the developed world are looking overseas for medical treatment. India is
capitalizing on its low costs and highly trained doctors to appeal to these
"international medical travelers." Even with airfare, the cost of going
for an international surgery
is markedly cheaper, and the quality of services is often better than that found
in the United States and UK. Yale Global News
International medical treatment is not only fast
and accessible, but it also costs a
fraction of what it costs in USA or Europe. Even tele-consultancy is available
for expert opinion and transmission facilities. India is a premier
destination for international health care. The hospitals in India are
meeting the
growing global need for high level specialized treatments like transplantation of
vital organs, cancer treatment, neuro-surgery, cardiac surgery and many more.

Until the
last few years, people looked at hospitals outside the U.S. as inferior
imitations. However, in the past 30 years, the costs of health care have
soared in the industrialized nations, especially in the U.S. Due to
rapidly escalating health care costs, Americans, Europeans, Canadians and
Australians in ever increasing numbers began to search for alternatives that
could reduce their personal out of pocket medical expenses. In the last few
years, millions of people worldwide have chosen to travel to and use
internationally accredited medical centers.
International Medical Centers
Deliver High-Quality Medical Care and Research

to, the following: cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgery, weight loss procedures,
cancer treatments, cosmetic surgery, general surgery, medications, infertility
treatments, stress reduction programs, neurosurgery, laparoscopic procedures,
sex reassignment surgery, experimental treatments and so much more.
World Class International
International Medical Travel Program
There are millions of
people worldwide sitting on endless medical waiting lists. There are millions
of Americans with no health insurance.
Now, people with no health insurance and those on
medical waiting lists have another alternative: "world class international
medical travel". The international medical traveler receives first class care
in an internationally accredited hospital with a U.S. or European trained
surgeon at prices that are often 90% less.
Americans who
are willing to travel outside the U.S. for their
medical and surgical needs will get near immediate access to an endless list of
quality, world class affordable medical , surgical, and dental procedures. The
list of services include cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgery, weight loss
procedures, cancer treatments, cosmetic surgery, general surgery, medications,
infertility treatments, stress reduction programs, neurosurgery, laparoscopic
procedures, sex reassignment surgery, experimental treatments and so much more.
A combination of many factors has
lead to the recent increase in popularity of international
medical travel: (1) rising costs of healthcare in industrialized
nations; (2) ease and affordability of international travel; (3)
favorable currency exchange rates in the global economy; (4)
rapidly improving technology; and (5) proven, superior
internationally accredited standards of care that are now
available in many countries. International medical travelers are
generally residents of the United States, Canada, Great Britain,
Western Europe, Australia and the Middle East. Currently,
international medical travelers are going in large numbers to
South and Southeast Asia, South America and North Africa ,
although other places are beginning to tailor quality medical
services aimed specifically at international medical travelers.
Traveling International, and Surgery Medical
Tourism
Traveling international and surgery medical
tourism is becoming more and more popular. People from all over the world,
including those from the
United States who don't have health insurance
are taking advantage of the opportunities to receive reduced rates on surgery
operations outside the U.S. Some of the most popular locations for many citizens
of the U.S. that are considered international-and surgery location destinations
that are considered international-include the following: India, Singapore,
Malaysia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Thailand, and South Africa.
These countries are known especially for their lowered
prices on cosmetic surgeries of all kinds. For example, many people travel
overseas and/or across borders to these places in order to receive breast
implants, face lifts, nose jobs, and more. Furthermore many medical procedures
such as hip replacements, weight loss surgery, gastric by-pass, orthopedic
surgery, lung transplant, heart transplants, kidney transplants, neuro-surgery
and cardiovascular surgeries are routinely completed outside the U.S.
Rates for traveling international and surgery price
estimations are also found online at sites where travel quotes are made, and
where estimated prices for various surgical procedures are displayed. This
information is usually displayed on cosmetic vacation and medical tourism sites.
Furthermore, tips on how to prepare for surgery are displayed on the internet.
Online information about preparing for surgery
and traveling international-and surgery locations overseas- are presented to
potential patients for many reasons. One reason is to help make potential
surgery candidates more aware of the possibility that they will be able to
afford the kind of care that they need. In fact, medical care in countries other
than places like the U.S. offer patients medical care for
20 to 80 percent of what that care costs locally.
No matter what boundary lines a person crosses to receive
medical care (whether local or international) and surgery, they are likely to
benefit from medical care performed in what used to be considered third world
nations. However, there are many doctors who are board certified that work
overseas and who also have received excellent formal medical training in modern
medicine. Those who travel to far away lands are likely to be happy with the
care they receive. However, these are the people that know to prepare well
enough beforehand. When people consider traveling internationally-especially for
medical reasons-those people need to consider a variety of factors. For
instance, patients will they need to know how long the recovery time will be, or
how many weeks they will need to rest after the surgery is completed.
One other important aspect of preparation for taking a
medical trip overseas (traveling international and surgery preparations)
includes the planning of traveling arrangements. Hotels need to be reserved,
plane tickets need to be purchased, and cars need to be rented. MDI is set to
handle all of your travel and clinical needs.
